PMS INTEGRATION

Opera + D3x: AI that reads and writes live reservation data in Opera.

Oracle Opera (including Opera Cloud) is the PMS standard at enterprise hotel chains. D3x connects through OHIP: it sends a connection request, the property administrator approves it, then agents read live inventory and reservations, redeliver invoices, and run outbound guest journeys. Booking engine and guest portal typically sit on P3 Hotels, SynXis, or a custom system. Opera has neither natively. The Opera integration is live in production today.

OVERVIEW

What the integration does

D3x connects to Opera in real time. When a guest messages, calls, or emails, the agent looks up the live reservation first, dates, rate, room status, folio, and acts on it. Late checkouts are confirmed against availability and rate rules, booking context flows into every reply, and changes are written back to Opera with a full audit trail.

CAPABILITIES

What agents do with Opera

  • Live reservation lookups in Opera by confirmation number or OTA ID
  • Rates and availability served in a carousel; Book now deep-links to P3 Hotels, SynXis, or a custom booking engine
  • Booking-engine rates and availability API when the engine overrides Opera prices (special offers, membership rates)
  • Invoice redelivery: Opera triggers the invoice email to the guest
  • P3 Hotels or custom guest-portal and online check-in after D3x authenticates the guest (Opera has no portal)
  • Outbound journeys from Opera stay events, including room is ready, with package and stay filters
  • Every write logged with the agent's decision rationale

ARCHITECTURE

How it connects

Opera connects through OHIP (Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform). D3x sends a connection request; the property administrator approves it in Opera; then the property is live. Agents read room types, rates, rate plans, and availability, look up reservations by confirmation number or OTA ID, ask Opera to redeliver invoice emails, and run outbound journeys including room-is-ready. Booking and guest-portal links typically come from P3 Hotels, SynXis, or a custom system. Opera has neither natively.

FAQ

Common questions.
